Privacy
PitchGap is run by Echelon Stores Ltd, Tiptree, Essex, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the information described here. Contact: conor@echelonmedia.co.uk.
What we collect
- When you sign in with Google: your name, email address and Google profile picture, and Google’s account ID for you. We don’t get your Google password or anything else in your Google account.
- What you tell us in your account: your town or postcode area, team name, age group and training nights.
- When you signed up and last signed in.
Why we use it
- To run your account and show you 3G and 4G venues near your area.
- To send you free-slot alerts and service emails about PitchGap once those launch.
Our lawful basis is providing the service you asked for (contract). We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
- Vercel, which hosts the site and stores account data.
- Google, for sign-in and for venue details and photos (Google Maps Platform). When you search for venues we send Google the town you entered, not who you are.
Cookies
We set one cookie, pg_session, to keep you signed in. It lasts up to 60 days and is removed when you sign out. Google may set its own cookies when you use the Sign in with Google button. Facebook may set its own cookies if you choose to load our Facebook posts on the homepage; they don’t load until you press the button.
How long we keep it
For as long as you have an account. Deleting your account from your account page removes your data straight away.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing conor@echelonmedia.co.uk. If you’re unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
